Data deletion

When a venue connects Facebook and Instagram, bestvenue keeps the Page’s name and id, the linked Instagram account, an encrypted access token for posting, and the posts published through us with their like, comment and share counts.

To delete it

• From Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, find bestvenue, and remove it. Facebook tells us, and we delete the access tokens straight away.
• From bestvenue: open Social in the app and choose Disconnect. The tokens are deleted at once.
• Everything else: email privacy@bestvenue.tech and we will delete the Page details and post records too, within 30 days, and confirm when it is done.

Posts already published stay on Facebook and Instagram until you delete them there.
