Integrations · the rest of your stack
Bring what works. Wire in the rest.
bestvenue is built to be the record underneath your venue, not a walled garden. Everything it holds is reachable over an API.
Pattern
One-way out
bestvenue is the source of truth and pushes to a display, a website, or a calendar.
Pattern
One-way in
Another system owns the data — usually ticketing — and bestvenue mirrors it onto the event.
Pattern
Two-way
Both sides can write, with bestvenue holding availability so conflicts are still refused in one place.
Calendars
The venue diary, where your staff already look
Your chef checks Google Calendar and your GM checks Outlook. Every held date — house events and private bookings alike — publishes to both as a live subscription, so nobody has to open another tab to know what is on.
- A live feed that Google Calendar, Outlook, and Apple Calendar all read
- Both kinds of event, with the room in the location field
- Cancellations drop off the feed as soon as they happen
- Two-way sync — writing blocks back from those calendars — is in progress
Ticketing and box office
Keep the platform your audience already buys from
Switching ticketing platforms mid-season is a bad trade. Connect the one you use and its sales, allocation, and attendance land on the same event record.
- Sales and remaining allocation synced onto the house event
- Attendance and scan data back on the night
- On-sale times driven from the event in bestvenue
- Or sell through bestvenue directly, if you would rather
The floor and the till
Seating charts, POS, and what the bar did
The systems that run the night hold numbers you want against the event: which tables were sold, what the bar took, what the kitchen served.
- Seating and floor-plan tools mapped to rooms and capacities
- POS and bar revenue attributed to the event that drove it
- Accounting exports to QuickBooks, Xero, and CSV
- Staffing and scheduling tools fed with confirmed dates
Anything else
An open API, so you are never waiting on us
Every record in bestvenue is reachable over a documented REST API with webhooks for changes. If a system matters to your venue and we have never heard of it, you are not blocked.
- REST API over every object — rooms, events, bookings, contacts, payments
- Webhooks on create, update, and status change
- Scoped API keys per integration, revocable independently
- Zapier and Make for the connections not worth writing code for
Honest status
The API is the foundation. The connectors are being built.
Calendar sync is in progress. Ticketing, POS, and accounting connectors are next, and the order is being set by the venues using bestvenue now. If a specific integration decides whether this works for you, tell us — that is genuinely how it gets prioritized.
Keep your stack. Give it one source of truth.
